Running Autodesk 2019  Products as Windows 10 Domain User

Windows 10 domain users are unable to run Autodesk 2019 Products successfully.
The workaround is to create a local account for that user and then run the program as the local user from the domain account.  Create a shortcut to the programs with the following commands and remember to replace the local username:

  • Autodesk Inventor
    • Target – C:\Windows\System32\runas.exe /user:<local username> “C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2019\acad.exe /language en-US /product ACADE /p <<ACADE>>”
    • Icon – %SystemRoot%\Installer\{7F4DD591-2364-0001-0000-7107D70F3DB4}\InventorPro.ico
  • Autodesk Mechanical
    • Target – C:\Windows\System32\runas.exe /user:<local username> “C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2019\acad.exe /p <<ACADMPP>> /product ACADM /language en-US”
      Icon – %SystemRoot%\Installer\{28B89EEF-2005-0409-2102-CF3F3A09B77D}\Acm13Icon.exe
  • Autodesk Electrical
    • Target – C:\Windows\System32\runas.exe /user:<local username> “C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2019\acad.exe /language en-US /product ACADE /p <<ACADE>>”
    • Icon – %SystemRoot%\Installer\{28B89EEF-2007-0409-2102-CF3F3A09B77D}\AceIcon.exe
  • Autodesk Autocad
    • Target – C:\Windows\System32\runas.exe /user:<local username> “C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2019\acad.exe /product ACAD /language en-US”
      Icon – %SystemRoot%\Installer\{28B89EEF-2001-0409-2102-CF3F3A09B77D}\Acad162_icon.exe
